The service
Ring a Human lets you create call tasks. Independent human callers may claim a task, place the call from their own phone, and record an outcome. We don't guarantee that any task will be claimed, that a call will connect, or any particular result.
New accounts may create tasks immediately. Tasks are dispatched to callers only after we approve the account. We may decline, pause or cancel any task or account at our discretion.
Your responsibilities
- Lawful basis. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to contact every phone number you submit, and for the consent basis you state on each task being accurate.
- Telemarketing laws. You're responsible for complying with laws that apply to your calls, including the TCPA, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, the National Do Not Call Registry, and state telemarketing laws. That includes registration where it's required.
- Accurate briefs. Briefs must be truthful and must not ask callers to misrepresent who they are or who they're calling for.
- Your agents. You're responsible for actions taken through your API keys and connected apps, including by AI agents acting for you. Keep your keys secret.
Prohibited use
- Harassment, threats, debt collection, or calls about illegal products or services.
- Calling numbers on our do-not-call list, or re-submitting numbers that opted out.
- Deceptive, fraudulent or impersonating calls, or anything that requires a caller to break the law.
- Collecting sensitive information (such as payment card numbers, government IDs or health information) on calls.
- Attempting to bypass calling-hour, do-not-call or approval controls, or to access other customers' data.
Fees
Fees are as listed on our pricing page (currently $6 per completed call attempt, plus $50 per booked meeting), unless we agree otherwise in writing. We'll give notice before changing prices for future tasks.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." Ring a Human provides tooling, not legal advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from tasks you submit or your breach of these terms.
